Singapore was granted the safest city in the world in comparison with 60 travel destinations across seven key metrics. These are health safety, crime risk, infrastructure security, digital security, personal safety, travel safety, and natural disaster risk.

This report shows that Singapore achieved the highest safety ranking due to its strict laws and low crime rate. In addition, the island has a very low risk of natural disasters, thanks to its location. Singapore also possesses a high quality of healthcare and infrastructure, as well as a low level of digital security risks. 

2. Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo, Japan, ranks second as the safest city in the world according to Forbes Advisor, after Singapore. Tokyo is known for its very low health safety risks, making it one of the safest cities in the world in this regard. In addition, Tokyo also received the best travel safety rating from the United States Department of State. The city ranks fifth lowest in terms of infrastructure security risks, meaning Tokyo has safe and well-maintained buildings and public facilities. 

3. Toronto, Canada

Toronto, Canada, follows as one of the safest cities in the world after Singapore and Tokyo. The city stands out by earning the best travel safety rating from the United States Department of State, indicating that Toronto is a safe and comfortable destination for travelers.

Additionally, Toronto has the fourth lowest infrastructure security risk and seventh in terms of health security risks. With a combination of stringent security measures, solid infrastructure, and reliable health services, Toronto has succeeded in creating a safe and comfortable environment for both residents and visitors.

4. Sydney, Australia

Sydney, Australia, stands out as one of the safest cities in the world with some impressive safety indicators. The city takes the top spot in terms of digital security. 5. Zurich, Switzerland

Zurich, Switzerland, is one of the cities with a very high level of security, standing out in several important aspects. The city has the third lowest risk of natural disasters and ranked fifth in terms of crime risk, thanks to effective law enforcement and a very low crime rate.
